THE FETCH

THE FETCH is an immersive VR experience and digital artwork that explores identity at the threshold of physical and digital. Comissioned by one of Europe’s largest art fairs viennacontemporary in collaboration with META and the MAK, we had the honour to imagine what our personal digital legacy might look like, posing the question:

What if ending meant becoming?

This unique VR journey invites you to dive into a person’s virtual Aura in a 10-Minute immersive experience created from their personal data. “THE FETCH” explores our relationship with virtuality by directing the focus from the physical body to a much larger individual sphere of influence - the personal digital footprint as a state of reconnection, calm and reflection.

VCT ACTIVATION is a cooperation of Meta, viennacontemporary, and MAK – Museum of Applied Arts to explore the innovative possibilities of new technologies in the context of contemporary art, especially virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality.
